SHOP THE LOOK
Hi my darlings! It’s been a while since my last post and I feel so guilty but so much has been happening lately. Namely, Coachella. Things have just been moving so quickly and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so grateful for the brands I’ve been working with recently, whether it’s attending their events or partnering with them on a collaboration. Also, I can’t express how good it feels to receive positive feedback on my Instagram feed. Trust me when I tell you, posting photos on Instagram is a job in and of itself (I plan on going into more detail in a future post, stay tuned!). And if you’re not following me, please do! I share a lot of style inspiration and what I do in my everyday life. Here’s a link to make your life easier: @sarah_najafi – I got your back! 😉
Ok, circling back to Coachella. I didn’t attend the festival itself, but I went to several events hosted by various brands on the first weekend. Prepping for it was fun yet extremely overwhelming. Luckily, I had 3 of my blogger babes on the ride along with me. We all worked together to get brand sponsorships, event invites and gifting. Needless to say, the journey was just as fun as the destination. I think the most intimidating part of it was putting looks together. But after my first event, I quickly realized that I put way too much pressure on myself and it’s so much easier than you think. Basically, simple airy, light clothing is your best friend y’all! It’s your accessories that set you apart. The funny thing is that’s usually how I approach all my looks but for some reason, I lost sight of that when prepping for Coachella.
I have to say one of my favorite looks was this Who What Wear floral print dress (target.com). I love the print, the cold shoulder detail, and how comfortable it is which is so important when attending a festival. Not to mention, so affordable! I paired it with this fun fringe bag by Henri Bendel (that every girl needs), white booties (major 2017 trend), and festival appropriate round rose gold sunnies. Go ahead, take a closer look…
Moving forward, I’m going to try to include some beauty faves with each style post. Here, I’m wearing my all time favorite liquid lipstick: Bare Minerals GEN NUDE Matte Liquid Lipcolor in ‘Frenemy’ (ulta.com) topped with their gloss in “Forbidden’ (ulta.com) just in the center of my lips. This combo is perfect for my beauties that like cool tone pink shades. The rest is no surprise, just the usual cat eye with bronzer on my crease. If you’d like the deets on what products I used, please leave a comment below! you’re having the best week! Lots of love. xx Sarah
