Hot Makeup Luscious Lip Gloss Review

November 25, 2015

Hi dolls!

I’m so happy because I finally get to share with you a beautiful makeup line that I’m so in love with, called Hot Makeup founded by Francini Franco. This luxurious line is made in Los Angeles (always a huge plus) and includes eye, face and lip products. First off, we need to take a moment to appreciate the beautiful rose gold packaging! I don’t even want to use it it’s so nice, I just want to put it on display. ;P

But please don’t do that, you most definitely want to use it because the quality is amazing! So far, I’ve used the Hot Candy Eye Shadow ($17), Luminous Eye Shadow ($12), Glistening Gloss ($19), and Luscious Lip Gloss ($19). With each addition to my makeup kit, I become more and more impressed. Not to mention, I absolutely adore one of the creators, Henry Vasquez. I don’t know him personally, but from his Instagram account alone, you can tell that he’s a total gem. Anyway, I can’t get enough of the Luscious Lip Gloss…let’s discuss why, shall we?

These incredibly pigmented lip glosses come in 9 different colors. In the picture above, I’m wearing Date Night without any lipstick or liner. My favorite colors are Ceremony, New Vogue, and Date Night. The very first time I wore this lip gloss, I was so impressed by how creamy and moisturizing it is. I have dry lips and need to apply chapstick several times a day. But the 5 hours I had the lip gloss on, my lips remained hydrated. Another thing I love about this lip gloss is that it acts as both a lipstick and lip gloss in one. If you’re the type that likes to wear lipstick under your lip gloss for extra coverage, you will not need to with this. That means less stuff to carry with you…bonus! It’s also not tacky or sticky like many lip glosses on the market. With the darker shades, you definitely will need to wear a lip liner because it will eventually bleed onto the skin around your lips. Also, expect to reapply after 3-4 hours.

As far as the ingredients are concerned, all the website states is that they’re vegan. Love that! But I want to provide you with more information, so I will keep you posted as I get more details.

Overall, I think the formula and the packaging are very luxurious. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into each product. And for $19, you get more than you pay for.

xo Sarah
